San Antonio, Texas (November 11, 2015) – The officers of Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc., are pleased to announce the promotion of John Tyler, to Senior Project Manager, Transportation. In this role, John will be helping to promote and manage Pape-Dawson Engineers’ civil engineering services throughout the State.
John brings more than 11 years’ experience in planning, organizing, and supervising the design of transportation projects. He has managed more than 28 PS&E improvement projects in 112+ communities spanning more than 800 miles of roadway throughout Texas. His experience includes the planning, design, and construction oversight of transportation projects involving accessible design, public involvement, roadway and freeway engineering, utility coordination, hydrologic modeling, hydraulic engineering, traffic control, traffic signal design, traffic engineering, and hike and bike facilities. John also oversees Pape-Dawson’s GIS development services department.
John received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is active in the American Society of Civil Engineers, Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and a Registered Accessibility Specialist.
