The officers of Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc., are pleased to announce Mr. Mashhood Shah, as Statewide Practice Area Leader of Transportation: Planning and Schematics. In this role, Mr. Shah will be responsible for management and technical oversight of the firm’s Planning and Schematics services throughout the State of Texas.
Mr. Shah brings more than 24 years’ experience in planning, organizing, and supervising the design of transportation projects. His experience includes preparation of feasibility studies, schematic and final design; TCPs; drainage storm and sanitary sewer systems design; water lines design; and SWPPPs. Mr. Shah has a proven track record of taking projects from planning stages through alternative analysis, public involvement, and schematic design. His experience includes urban street-widening projects as well as complex freeway and toll road projects. As a project manager, he has coordinated with client project managers, developed project scopes/schedules, negotiated fees, managed project teams, and implemented QA/QC programs. Mr. Shah has held numerous leadership roles in his career and has successfully managed multiple high-profile projects with a strong reputation of taking care of his clients with cost-effective leadership.
Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
