San Antonio, Texas (October 22, 2015) – Pape‐Dawson Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of Jason R. Elms, P.E., LEED AP, as the Vice President for the Dallas office. Jason will be a key leader in the Dallas office, promoting and managing Pape‐Dawson Engineers’ civil engineering services throughout the Dallas area.
Jason comes to Pape‐Dawson with more than 18 years’ of experience providing oversight of the design and construction of major public infrastructure and private development projects in and around the Dallas community. His experience includes coordination and supervision of multiple land acquisitions, entitlements, public and private financing, land planning and zoning, budget administration, schedule development, public‐private partnership negotiations, and construction administration.
Jason has held project lead responsibilities on more than thirty commercial site developments, ranging from one‐acre corner drugstores to, 90‐acre power centers, and several large industrial site developments, including approximately 5.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space. He has also managed design consultant and contractor teams to deliver approximately $80‐million of LEED Certified build‐to‐suit and speculative projects.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is involved in numerous civic and professional associations in the Dallas community, including Colleyville Planning and Zoning Commission, The Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
