The 496-room Westin La Cantera Resort Hotel and Spa is located on a 1,700-acre site just northwest of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. The resort includes a world class hotel, an 18-hole PGA-certified championship golf course, an 18-hole resort golf course, several pools, separate cabanas, and a clubhouse, all built on a former limestone quarry site.
Pape-Dawson served as the lead civil engineer for the project, which included the design of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution, electric utilities, telephone facilities, and roadways. We coordinated with a team of consultants, architects, and City agencies to complete PS&E and construction administration for this project.
