Pape-Dawson provided civil engineering and design services for a 0.48 MGD wastewater treatment plant for the 4S Ranch development in Bulverde. We developed, permitted, and constructed all aspects of this project and accounted for future expansions to full-permitted flow.
The project scope included development of an influent lift station; headworks with bar screening; and a package treatment plant with aeration and digester basins, clarifier, chlorine contact chamber, and tertiary filtration. We also designed an effluent lift station, blowers, non-potable water system, operations building, chlorine and aluminum feed system, and sludge dewatering area.
We designed the plant per TCEQ and GBRA standards, and mitigated resident concerns by paying close attention to odor control and aesthetics.
