Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Shelly Mitchell, P.E., to Vice President. Ms. Mitchell will continue to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional land development projects.
Ms. Mitchell joined Pape-Dawson in 2005. During her time with Pape-Dawson, Ms. Mitchell has successfully provided analysis, design, and project management on hundreds of Central Texas projects, including the Domain South End District 32-acre mixed-use development, Austin’s Parks and Recreation irrigation system, the 69-acre Living Spaces location in Pflugerville, and the Texas State University Bobcat Stadium expansion.
Currently, Ms. Mitchell serves on the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) Board of Directors and is a RECA team lead on the City of Austin Land Development Code rewrite.
“Shelly’s outstanding leadership skills and dedication to her projects and clients has led to many successful projects over the years,” said Pape-Dawson Engineers’ Managing Principal of Central Texas, Mark Ramseur, P.E.
Ms. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tulane University in 2003. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
