Hugh Brightwell Promoted to Vice President, Construction Management

 

San Antonio, Texas (October 17, 2024) – Pape-Dawson Engineers is proud to announce the promotion of Hugh Brightwell to Vice President, Construction Management. Mr. Brightwell has more than 40 years of experience in delivering heavy civil infrastructure projects for public entities in Texas, Arizona, and Southeast Asia. His expertise spans program and construction management, collaborative delivery, and self-perform construction.

 

Mr. Brightwell currently serves as the Program Construction Manager for the City of Sherman’s Capital Improvement Program, overseeing multiple large-scale infrastructure projects. The $1B program is expected to be completed in 2026. In this role, he is responsible for program governance, including information management, controls, financial projections, and risk assessments.

 

In his new role as Vice President, Construction Management, he will focus on expanding Pape-Dawson’s Construction Management business line, focusing on water/wastewater infrastructure-related projects and building the firm’s team across the state.
