Luke Reed, P.E., CFM, Promoted to Vice President
San Antonio, Texas (January 8, 2024) – Pape-Dawson Engineers announces the promotion of Luke Reed, P.E., CFM, to Vice President. Mr. Reed joined Pape-Dawson in 2004 and has 20 years of experience in transportation design and drainage projects.
He has managed bridge replacement and widening, roadway design, hydraulic engineering, hydrologic modeling, and utility coordination for numerous transportation projects serving TxDOT, Bexar County, and the City of San Antonio.
Mr. Reed’s expertise has contributed to the successful delivery of 35 bridge replacements for TxDOT’s Yoakum District totaling over $100M. He also served as project manager for the award-winning $50M Potranco Road widening project. Currently, Mr. Reed is the drainage task lead for segments 3-6 of the $1.2B Loop 1604 freeway expansion project aimed at relieving congestion and enhancing safety along the high-traveled corridor.

Mr. Reed has chaired five positions with the American Society of Civil Engineers San Antonio Chapter, including serving as President in 2019. He also served as a founding officer and Treasurer of the San Antonio chapter of the Environmental and Water Research Institute.
