Pape-Dawson Engineers Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Luke Reed, P.E., CFM to Associate Vice President.
Since joining Pape-Dawson in January 2004, Mr. Reed has grown to be a leader in roadway design, utility coordination and design, hydrologic modeling, and hydraulic engineering. Some of his successful projects include 22 on-system bridge replacements in the TxDOT Yoakum District, US 281 environmental schematic design, and North SL 1604 expansion and reconstruction. Mr. Reed is the lead hydraulic and hydrologic design engineer in Pape-Dawson’s Transportation group, providing support and review for transportation projects.
“Luke is a great asset to our team and clients,” Pape-Dawson’s Senior Vice President, James Lutz, P.E. said. “His proven leadership and technical skills make Luke invaluable to the transportation design industry. I look forward to seeing him grow as a professional.”
Mr. Reed currently serves as the Branch Past-President of the American Society of Civil Engineers San Antonio chapter and is a member of the San Antonio Environmental and Water Resources Institute Committee. Additional memberships include the Texas Public Works Association South Texas Chapter and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He also serves his community as a Meals on Wheels Volunteer.
Mr. Reed earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003. He is a Certified Floodplain Manager and a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
