The Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) has recognized Pape-Dawson’s Senior Project Manager, Ruben Gaztambide, RPLS, PS, CP as Geospatial Professional of the Year.
Mr. Gaztambide joined Pape-Dawson in 2019 and has more than 20 years of experience in the land surveying and geospatial industry in a variety of market sectors, including transportation, land development, municipal government, and education.
“Being named Geospatial Professional of the Year is an incredible honor. Ruben has proven himself as a leader within Pape-Dawson and among our clients and community,” Senior Vice President David Casanova, RPLS said.
TSPS presents the Geospatial Professional of the Year award to professionals based on their accomplishments, commitment to the field and TSPS, and leadership.
Mr. Gaztambide earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and has a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying and Mapping from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Texas, a Professional Surveyor in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist.
