Pape-Dawson served the TxDOT San Antonio district as the prime consultant for this joint-funded initiative with VIA Metropolitan Transit to provide accessible connectivity from existing and proposed transit stops to nearby pedestrian activity generators.
After conducting site visits for each corridor to identify existing noncompliant driveways, drainage conditions, pavement deficiencies, and accessibility violations, we developed 46 schematics and three PS&E packages, including 194 driveway reconstructions to meet current accessibility requirements.
