John Tyler, P.E., RAS Promoted to Managing Vice President, Transportation
San Antonio, Texas (July 22, 2024) – Pape-Dawson Engineers announces the promotion of John Tyler, P.E., RAS to Managing Vice President, Transportation. Mr. Tyler joined Pape-Dawson in 2005 and has 19 years of experience in transportation and roadway projects. He has successfully managed agency coordination, stakeholder interactions, and public meetings for high visibility, corridor rehabilitation projects of all scales. He specifically maintains a focus on multi-modal transportation expansion projects.
Mr. Tyler has contributed to infrastructure improvement projects in more than 110 Texas communities. He is recognized as a national leader in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and has led ADA master-planning efforts in collaboration with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
Mr. Tyler is actively involved in civic and professional organizations, serves on several board and leadership positions with Comal ISD and Comal County, and contributes significantly to the American Society of Civil Engineers at both local and state levels.
