Star Metals District
Pape-Dawson (as Eberly & Associates) provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for this mixed-use development that straddles Howell Mill Road in West Midtown.
The development includes a 15-story, 267,000-SF Class A office building with 40,000 SF of ground retail. Luxury amenities include a rooftop cafe and multiple amenity decks, and tenant terraces feature greenroof spaces.
The office building, now home to the Nike Technology Innovation Center, features greenroofs totaling 34,000 SF which provide year-round blooms. Roof Blue system by LiveRoof was used to capture and store precipitation. This system allowed us to remove an underground vault. The vault that is in place doubles as water supply for the greenroofs.
The development is also home to Sentral West Midtown, a 409-unit apartment complex with ground floor retail and rooftop amenities located just across from the office building.
Our team is also providing civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the next phase of Star Metals District, Stella. The 338,000-SF building will rise just east of Star Metals Offices and deliver 327 multi-family units with 25,000 SF of street-level retail.
