West Georgia
Technical College
New Carroll Campus
Carrollton, GA
Pape-Dawson (as Eberly & Associates) provided comprehensive land planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for a new 50-acre campus with multiple buildings totaling 165,000 GSF, student parking, and CDL truck driving range. Landscape features include an outdoor eating and study area as well as a long, wooden pedestrian bridge.
The site was initially planned for a technical park and had roadways, roundabouts, and stormwater infrastructure in place. The team master planned this campus to use the existing infrastructure to reduce site development costs.
The main 3-story building includes student support spaces, administrative offices, general classrooms, and science labs. The single-story Technical and Industrial (T&I) Building houses various technical trade programs utilizing heavy equipment. The CDL range is located nearby the T&I building. This project is the first phase in the development of the new campus.
