Pape-Dawson performed a boundary improvement and topographic survey of approximately 16 miles of right of way (ROW). The scope of work included creating approximately 40 surveying parcels with exhibits and metes and bounds at CenterPoint Energy specifications and topographic survey for design and construction of a transmission line and bridge crossing.
We performed deed research, ROW, and existing control and reference monuments for horizontal and vertical control checks and to prepare a search map for the boundary reconnaissance. We located all boundary monuments, boundary calls or reference points, and any fence corners within the scope area. Our crews recorded the size, type of material, and ownership cap with corresponding information, if available. We utilized laser scanning to perform precise and accurate measurements of the bridge and footings.
