Bud Stockton Extension
Williamson County, TX
Pape-Dawson completed schematic design and final PS&E for a 1.3-mile, new location, four-lane, divided arterial extension of Bud Stockton from FM 487 to CR 305. Our team developed alignment alternatives for the ultimate corridor that avoided or minimized impacts with Jarrell High School, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) floodplain, utilities, a historic cemetery, private structures, karst zones, stock ponds, and proposed development. Pape-Dawson led coordination efforts with Williamson County, City of Jarrell, TxDOT, Jarrell ISD, property owners, and utilities.
Additional services provided include right-of-way (ROW) mapping and acquisitions, ROW and topographic survey, public involvement, environmental clearance, geotech analysis and pavement design, utility coordination, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater pollution prevention plan, signing and striping, and bid and construction phase services.
