WICHITA, Kansas (August 7, 2026) – Pape-Dawson is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Lackey, P.E., as Market Sector Leader, Transportation, where he will lead the strategic growth and advancement of the firm’s transportation practice.
Jeff brings more than 25 years of transportation engineering and leadership experience, with expertise in business development, strategic planning, operations, and project delivery. Throughout this career, he has built strong client partnerships, led high-performing teams, and successfully guided transportation initiatives across multiple states.
Based in the firm’s Wichita, Kansas office, Jeff will work closely with regional leaders to identify new market opportunities, define priorities, and develop scalable operational plans to support sustainable market growth across the country. His leadership will support the firm’s continued growth while building on its reputation for delivering innovative, client-focused transportation solutions.
Jeff is actively involved in the transportation industry through organizations including ARTBA, AASHTO, IBTTA, and the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers, where he previously served as president.
