FTTh Design and Permitting
Arizona, California, and Texas
As part of a regional broadband initiative, our telecommunications team delivered FTTh design and permitting support for a township-wide fiber project spanning Arizona, California, and Texas. Services included aerial and underground design, fielding, and permitting. Responsibilities included planning fiber routes in ArcGIS Pro to align with client GIS systems, validating designs through fielding and confirmed right-of-way availability for vault placement, incorporating field updates into final designs, and preparing permit packages for local and state review. We also managed aerial permitting for third-party pole attachments, identified pole replacement needs, and coordinated pole-owner approvals. We provided support for regulatory compliance and coordinated stakeholder reviews to keep phased delivery on schedule and within budget.
