Tesoro Roundabout
Tesoro owners requested a unique intersection at the center of Ridgewood Park (US 281 and Redland Road) in San Antonio. Pape-Dawson designed a roundabout where the private roadways intersect to provide the best flow of traffic and to offer opportunity for landscaping to enhance the aesthetic design of the corporate park. We designed the geometry and striping, and set the elevations to keep it above the adjacent Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) floodplain.
