US 281 North Phase 2
Pape-Dawson provided CEI services to TxDOT to upgrade this corridor to a freeway facility, including frontage roads and entrance/exit ramps. We oversaw inspection of overpasses, bridges, and wall systems, including shop drawing review and cost analysis. As part of this process, our team eliminated an unnecessary shoring wall system by simple re-grading and sloping overburdened embankments, allowing more contractor resources to be spent on critical path items and enabling an earlier completion.
