Right-of-Way Acquisition
Pape-Dawson delivered comprehensive ROW and land services for a facility extension along SH 99 (Grand Parkway), supporting significant residential and commercial development throughout a rapidly growing corridor. The project is being delivered under a design-build model and required continuous coordination and flexibility due to its evolving scope and schedule.
Originally scoped to include 20 parcels, Segment B-1 expanded to nearly 60 parcels within 6 months. Our team adapted to the increased demands by accelerating acquisition efforts and coordinating closely with project stakeholders to maintain momentum. Within the first 3 months, the team successfully secured and prepared a critical parcel for demolition to clear the way for progress on several key acquisitions and keep the project on track – a demonstration of our team’s ability to navigate complex property negotiations and deliver strategic ROW solutions while adhering to an aggressive timeline.
Most of the ROW was needed to convey water via drainage ponds through a series of culverts. We completed relocations for a 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station and a Take 5 quick-lube oil change shop to support the project.
