Houston, Texas (January 6, 2025) – Pape-Dawson Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Preiss, P.E., to Chief Operating Officer, Texas Region. Michael’s impact on our firm spans nearly 30 years, during which his leadership and vision have been instrumental in building and running a successful business in the Houston market.
Since joining Pape-Dawson in 1997, Michael has made an indelible mark on our firm by leading transformative initiatives and driving strategic growth. His successes include opening our Houston office in 2009 and growing it from a single employee to a thriving team of over 300. This accomplishment is evidence of Michael’s ability to establish and scale operations while fostering a strong culture.
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Texas Region, Michael will oversee all business activities across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, including operational efficiency, financial performance, client engagement, and project delivery while continuing to assist in leading critical functions related to Human Resources and Information Technology. His guidance will ensure that we maintain robust systems and processes to support ongoing growth and innovation, solidifying Pape-Dawson’s position as a trusted leader in the markets we serve.
