El Portal Industrial Park project is a proposed 212-acre industrial site that required extensive flood, stream, and wetlands mitigation. Pape-Dawson performed hydrology and hydraulics calculations and supervised the design of constructed wetlands, riparian zones, natural channel design, and detention basins. Our design included 8,630’ of earthen flood control channel, two detention ponds, 0.73 acres of wetlands mitigation, and 4,723’ of stream mitigation using natural channel design methodology.
