Pape-Dawson designed traffic flow improvements from the IH 10 frontage road to two primary gated entry points for the Balcones Creek subdivision. The Balcones Creek roundabout was also designed to provide access to a future campus for The Alamo Colleges District. It allows a future driveway connection on the north side so residential and school traffic can flow without the hassle of a stop-controlled intersection. We also worked closely with landscape architects to incorporate landscaping elements and signage to highlight front entry features.
