Steven Crauford, P.E. Promoted to Vice President
Austin, TX – (June 13, 2022) Pape-Dawson Engineers has promoted Steven Crauford, P.E. to Vice President. Mr. Crauford has over 20 years of experience in designing and managing large master planned communities and infrastructure projects. His expertise in site grading, cost analysis, and drainage and detention design have become invaluable assets to the firm.
Mr. Crauford’s advanced technical skills have contributed to the success of some of the most challenging master planned community projects, such as Kissing Tree of San Marcos, a 1,300-acre mixed-use residential development. The complexity of this project required Mr. Crauford to manage multi-jurisdiction coordination and compliance with the City of San Marcos, TxDOT, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This was accomplished while he also managed and coordinated assignments for staff from various departments within the company, including survey, transportation, water, floodplain, and golf course design.
“Mr. Crauford has been instrumental in the advancement of the Land Development Department,” says Mike Fisher, Senior Vice President of Land Development. “His ability to rally the team to successfully complete projects has been outstanding. We are excited to see him thrive in his new role.”
Mr. Crauford holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of Austin Contractors and Engineers Association.
