The San Antonio Business Journal Honors Taylor Dawson as a 2021 “40 Under 40”
San Antonio, Texas (February 10, 2021) – Pape-Dawson Engineers is proud to announce that Senior Vice President Taylor Dawson, P.E. has been named one of the San Antonio Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” recipients. Nominated individuals are professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in business, leadership, and community involvement.
Mr. Dawson joined Pape-Dawson in 2010, and has spent the past decade successfully managing commercial and residential land development projects throughout San Antonio. He also serves Pape-Dawson as an officer of the firm, responsible for strategic growth and operations planning.
Mr. Dawson is heavily involved in the community and serves in leadership roles in numerous civic and professional organizations, including the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce (SA to DC Chair 2020), Southwest School of Art Gala (Co-Chair 2019), Urban Land Institute (Outreach Chair), San Antonio Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), American Society of Civil Engineers (Board Member), Chamber of Commerce Leadership San Antonio (Class 43), Leadership Organization of Professionals (Founding Member), Real Estate Council of San Antonio (Leadership Development Class 2016), Witte Museum Planning Committee, and Pape-Dawson U30 Young Professional Development Group (Founding Member).

Mr. Dawson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Taylor was named “Young Engineer of the Year” by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Bexar Chapter in 2019.
