Pape-Dawson Engineers is proud to announce the promotion of Taylor Dawson P.E., to Senior Vice President. Mr. Dawson will continue to lead land development projects across Texas.
Mr. Dawson joined Pape-Dawson in 2010 and has successfully managed many significant San Antonio land development projects over the last decade. Serving as Senior Vice President of Land Development, he leads multiple design teams operating in several Texas markets. As an officer with Pape-Dawson, Mr. Dawson is also responsible for strategic growth and operations planning.
Mr. Dawson was named “Young Engineer of the Year” by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Bexar Chapter in 2019 and is a recent recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s “40 under 40” for his demonstrated commitment and excellence in business, leadership, and community involvement. His notable community involvement includes the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce (2021 Vice-Chair, 2020 SA to DC Chair, and 2020 Board member), Urban Land Institute Mobility Local Member Council (Co-Chair), Southwest School of Art Gala (Co-Chair 2019), American Society of Civil Engineers (Board Member), Chamber of Commerce Leadership San Antonio (Class 43), Leadership Organization of Professionals (Founding Member), Real Estate Council of San Antonio (Leadership Development Class 2016), Witte Museum Planning Committee, and Pape-Dawson U30 Young Professional Development Group (Founding Member).

Mr. Dawson holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
