New Braunfels, Texas (January 9, 2025) – Pape-Dawson Engineers is proud to announce the promotion of Todd Blackmon, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, to Managing Principal, New Braunfels.
Todd began his career with Pape-Dawson in 1996 at our San Antonio office. In 2018, he led the establishment of our New Braunfels office and has grown the team to more than 40 multidisciplinary professionals. Since then, he has forged strategic industry relationships and built high-performing teams who have contributed to some of the largest master planned developments along the IH-35 corridor within Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, and Caldwell Counties.
Beyond his role at Pape-Dawson, Todd is a graduate of Leadership New Braunfels and is the 2025 Chairman of the Board of the New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation. He also serves as Chairman of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, promoting expanded transportation infrastructure and serving as a liaison between local businesses, the Texas Department of Transportation, City, and County staff.
In his new role as Managing Principal, New Braunfels, Todd will continue to lead strategic and operational efforts for the growing New Braunfels office.
