Pape-Dawson collected vegetation data on 2,863 acres of City of San Antonio-owned property to create a model for determining the presence of suitable golden-cheeked warbler habitat and to assist in developing conservation easements. We utilized a GIS model and spatial analysis to help delineate between potential and unlikely habitats, and created maps of each parcel outlining detections and approximated territories.
