As the civil engineer for this 25-acre Valero Energy Corporation Data Center in San Antonio’s Westover Hills, Pape-Dawson was responsible for site surveying and design of redundant electrical and communication facilities to serve the site; on-site sanitary sewer, domestic, and fire water systems; underground electric and communications duct bank systems; storm drain improvements to manage stormwater runoff through the site; site grading; stormwater pollution abatement; and platting. We also prepared plans to subdivide the remaining portion of the 51.83-acre tract into two additional lots. These lots are master planned to be data centers with redundant utilities and shared security.
