Pape-Dawson oversaw the improvements to FM 1518 from FM 78 to IH 10, which included widening from two to four lanes, inclusion of a raised median, and the addition of a shared-use path and sidewalks. Our environmental responsibilities for this roadway widening project included analyzing community, biological, noise, and water resource impacts and assisting in right-of-way acquisitions through a hazardous materials analysis. Additional environmental services included conducting Waters of the United States delineations for six jurisdictional features.
