Pape-Dawson provided PS&E for a complete intersection reconstruction on an accelerated design schedule for the TxDOT Beaumont District. We reconstructed the skewed intersection from two lanes to five lanes with dedicated left and right turn lanes with new traffic signals. We explored multiple traffic signal configurations to work on the 55-degree skew and provide the ability to widen north of FM 3180 to seven lanes through a future project.
