Pape-Dawson was responsible for the design of a 375,000-gallon ground storage tank, pump system, and 8″ and 24″ water lines. We acquired the necessary permits for TxDOT driveway access and the crossing of a Tarrant Regional Water District transmission water main, conducted boundary and topographic surveying, performed an environmental investigation for waters of the U.S. determination, and provided bidding and construction phase services.
Highlighted Water Supply Infrastructure Design Projects
Anderson Pump Station
Pape-Dawson completed the design and secured approvals on an expedited schedule for this 13,000-gallons-per-minute high-service booster pump station that serves an estimated 8,700 customers in western Bexar County.
Sonterra MUD Water Wells
Our engineers designed improvements to the existing water distribution system, storage capacity, and water quality for the booming Sonterra Municipal Utility District in north Austin.
Vista Ridge Regional Water Supply Project
At 142 miles, the length of this mammoth water supply project is akin to the distance between Austin and East Houston – or one-fifth the length of Texas – and is the P3 largest design-build pipeline project in North American history.
WECO Pump Station
Pape-Dawson designed a new water production facility to provide up to 15 MGD of potable water from the Trinity Aquifer to San Antonio Water System.
