AT&T Center
Pape-Dawson was instrumental in the redevelopment of the AT&T Center, home to the San Antonio Spurs, Rampage, the annual San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, and multiple fan-favorite events throughout the year. Critical to this project’s success was our extensive coordination with various public and private stakeholders, each with differing goals and requirements.
Civil engineering services for this site were challenging since the AT&T Center had uncharted and complex underground infrastructure. We provided significant planning to supply dual feed services for both electric and data reliability needs during events.
We completed all tasks under an aggressive completion deadline, including surveying and right-of-way mapping, site infrastructure design, and utility design and relocation. Tasks also included drainage design, water and sanitary sewer improvements, a stormwater pollution prevention plan, parking improvements, and construction administration activities.
